A few days ago, I wrote that WAEC has released held results for 2018. If you are yet to check, click here to see whether your withheld result has been released.
My waec result was written held, now am seeing cancelled, what does it mean? This is the issue I shall address today. Continue reading for answers to your question.
NEC meeting was held from Tuesday, 2nd to Thursday, 4th October 2018 to decide that results of those found guilty of exam malpractice should be cancelled & results of those exonerated be released immediately.
Few days after the meeting, some held results were released while others were cancelled.
From the statement above, cancelled results mean you were found guilty of examination malpractice. It could be that you were found guilty as a person or the centre you wrote engaged in massive malpractice.
You may be wondering, is waec still going to release cancelled results? Unfortunately No. If your results are cancelled, that is the end. You won’t get it again.
What’s the way forward? I will simply advise you sit for waec 2019.
While preparing for waec 2019, please ensure not to register in the centre you used earlier. Check for a centre with good waec record. Sit for waec in a good centre and ensure to study very smart.
