Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education has received approval for 11 additional academic programmes from the National Universities Commission. The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Stella Ngozi Lemchi, announced the update after the University received an official letter dated 20 April 2026.
The approval lifts the total number of undergraduate programmes at AIFUED to 56; that gives prospective students a wider set of course options for the 2026/2027 academic session.
