ASCOEA registration deadline extended for 2025/2026

Updated: April 3, 2026 by Ayo Faith

Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare, ASCOEA, has announced a final extension of the first semester registration deadline for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The notice came from the Office of the Registrar. It stated that the Provost approved the extension after an appeal by the Students’ Union Governments and after Management considered the present situation.

New ASCOEA registration deadline

The first semester registration period has been extended from 2 April to 7 April 2025.

Students are expected to complete all registration steps within that window; the school described it as the final extension.

Students covered by the extension

ASCOEA said the extension applies to all students.

This includes:

  • new students
  • returning students
  • NELFUND beneficiaries
  • scholarship holders
  • regular students

That makes the directive broad and Clear; no group was left out in the notice.

What students must complete

The school directed students to complete their registration processes within the approved period.

This includes signing and returning registration forms.

Students who have not finished those steps are expected to do so before the closing date.

Directive for NELFUND beneficiaries

NELFUND beneficiaries were given a separate instruction in the circular.

They are to liaise with their designated Desk Officer for registration.

Warning after the closing date

ASCOEA said no student will be attended to after the closing date without prior notification.

The message is direct; students are expected to act before the deadline passes.

Summary of the ASCOEA notice

ASCOEA has moved the 2025/2026 first semester registration deadline to 7 April 2025. The extension covers new, returning, NELFUND, scholarship, and regular students.

The school also directed students to complete registration, sign and return their forms, while NELFUND beneficiaries must work with their designated Desk Officer.
