ATBU Direct Entry Screening Eligibility

To be eligible for the ATBU direct entry screening, all candidates must have the following:

  • Made the ATBU their first choice of institution in the 2023/2024 Direct Entry Admission.
  • A minimum of credit passes in five (5) O’-level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.

How to Apply for ATBU Direct Entry Screening

Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you navigate this process:

  1. RRR Generation: Generate your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number using your JAMB registration number as the username. Please note, that the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, should be selected as the institution.
  2. Payment Details: There’s a nominal online screening fee of N2,000. You can make this payment into the ATBU account using any bank of your preference.
  3. Submission of Information: Once you access the portal, please fill out all the necessary details in the required fields. If you’re awaiting your results, please indicate “AR” in the appropriate grade area and don’t forget to attach a recent passport-sized photograph.
  4. Acknowledgement Slip: After successfully submitting your information, download the online screening acknowledgement slip. This will be required for the physical screening.
  5. Portal Accessibility: For any updates or changes to your bio-data, the portal will be accessible from Monday, 23rd October to Saturday, 28th October 2023.

 Note: It’s imperative to bring the original copies of your credentials for verification during the physical screening.
