Auchi Polytechnic, in affiliation with the Federal University Lokoja, has announced the start of the Special Conversion Undergraduate Degree Programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The programme targets qualified candidates who want to upgrade their academic qualification and improve career prospects. Through this partnership, HND holders and other eligible applicants can earn a Bachelor’s Degree, with teaching delivered by experienced faculty from both schools.
Who can apply
The programme is open to the following applicants:
HND holders
Candidates must hold a Higher National Diploma with at least Lower Credit in relevant fields.
Degree holders
Candidates with at least a 3rd Class degree from recognised universities can also apply for academic upgrading or career growth.

Entry requirements
Prospective students must meet these conditions:
O’Level requirement
Candidates must have credit passes in relevant subjects; five at one sitting or six at two sittings.
Certificate requirement
Applicants must present any of these:
- HND with at least Lower Credit
- 3rd Class or Pass degree
They must also have NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificates.
