Scholarship and Tuition Discount for the 2023/2024 Academic Session

Undergraduate Programmes

Are you a pioneer student? The first 100 students enrolled in our undergraduate programs are entitled to a 10% tuition discount. Additionally, AUST offers the following discounts based on your JAMB score:

• 10% discount on a score of 200-250
• 15% discount on a score of 250-300
• 20% discount on a score greater than 300

That’s not all! If you achieve exceptional results in your WAEC/NECO examinations with 5A1, 7A1, or all A1, you are eligible for a 10%, 15%, or 20% discount, respectively. The University also provides two tuition scholarships to qualified undergraduates from our host community.

Postgraduate Programmes

If you are a first-class graduate of AUST’s undergraduate programs, congratulations! You are eligible for a 100% tuition scholarship for our MSc program at AUST. For AUST graduates with degrees other than first class, AUST offers a 40% tuition discount. Furthermore, all other successful undergraduate students who pass the University entrance examination can avail of a 25% tuition discount. Ph.D. applicants who meet the University entrance requirements are also entitled to a 25% tuition discount.

Multiple Sibling Tuition Discount Policy

At AUST, they value family and recognize the importance of education for siblings. Hence, they have established a tuition discount policy for siblings enrolled as full-time students. The discount rates are as follows:

• 10% tuition discount for the first sibling
• 15% tuition discount for the second sibling
• 20% tuition discount for the third sibling
• 25% tuition discount for the fourth and additional siblings

To ensure fairness, the discount will be applied based on the year of enrollment of each sibling, with priority given to the first to enroll as an undergraduate student. The discount will continue to be applied as long as there is continuous enrollment at the University. In cases where more than two siblings are enrolled simultaneously with the same date of enrollment, the higher discount rate shall apply to the lesser tuition cost. For four or more students enrolled, the discount rates are as follows: 10% for the first two students, 20% for the third student, and 25% for each of the fourth and any additional students.

Upfront or Early Payment Discount Scheme

To facilitate easy payment for parents, the University allows installment plans for tuition fees. However, AUST also offers a 5% early payment discount to students who pay their annual tuition fee in full at the start of their course. To be eligible for this discount, 95% of the net tuition fee must be paid to the University by the deadline dates specified.

Alumni Discount

AUST greatly values its alumni, and to express our appreciation, AUST offers a 20% discount on tuition fees for eligible University alumni who enroll in our postgraduate programs. This discount is applicable to both full-time and part-time students. To qualify for the alumni discount, you must have successfully completed one of the following at AUST:

• Undergraduate degree program (including honors, non-honors, and integrated masters)
• Master’s program (including a postgraduate certificate/diploma and a Ph.D.)
• Short certificate or diploma programs

Accommodation Scholarship

For exceptional students with outstanding JAMB and WAEC/NECO results, the institution is pleased to offer a 50% discount on accommodation. This opportunity is available to five exceptional students who meet the eligibility criteria.
