Baptist College of Theology, Benin, in affiliation with Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, has opened applications for its Conversion Programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The programme is for graduates who hold a Bachelor of Theology (B.Th) or Bachelor of Religious Education (BRE) and want to convert those qualifications into university-recognised degrees. Successful candidates may convert to Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Religious Studies or Bachelor of Arts Education (B.A.Ed.) in Religious Studies.

The College states that successful applicants will be eligible for conversion into:
- Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Religious Studies
- Bachelor of Arts Education (B.A.Ed.) in Religious Studies
Study Format and Start Date
The academic structure is a Modular Sandwich Contact; the first semester contact will begin in July 2026.
Admission Requirements
Applicants for the 2026/2027 session must meet these conditions:
- Hold a B.Th or BRE from a recognised theological school in Nigeria
- Have at least Second Class Lower or Lower Credit
- Ensure academic transcripts are sent directly from the previous school to the College
- Provide valid O’ Level results, a Birth Certificate and Local Government Identification
Duration and Fees
The conversion course will run for two academic sessions, which is 2 years.
Application Fee
The application fee is N15,000.
Tuition Fee
The tuition fee is N125,000 per first semester modular sandwich contact.
