Delta State University Admission Requirements For All Candidates
Admission Requirements For UTME Candidates
1. Candidates must have at least 6 (six) “Cs (Credits)” grades in their O’level result (s).
That must include English Language, Mathematics and three other subjects related to their course of study.
For instance, a Candidate that wants to study law must have a “C” in English Language, Mathematics, Government/History, Economics and Literature in English.
2. Candidates must have reached the age of 16.
3. Candidates must score at least 170 in the JAMB UTME examination
4. Candidates must take the DELSU post UTME screening examination and must perform very well in the examination (Depending on the course of study)
5. Not more than TWO sitting results are accepted for admission into Delta State University, Abraka (DELSU).
6. Candidates must choose the correct subject combination for their courses.
7. Lastly, candidates must meet the stipulated cutoff marks for their courses to gain admission into the university.

Admission Requirements For Direct Entry Candidates
1. Candidates must possess at least five (5) Credits in their O-Level results.
That must include English Language and Mathematics. However, two sitting results are allowed.
2. Candidates must have also reached the age of 16.
3. Candidates are expected to get the JAMB Directly entry form from JAMB to apply.
4. Candidates should have one of the following certificates: OND, ND, NCE, IJMB, Cambridge A level, BSc, HND, and ICAN.
The DELSU JAMB general cut-off mark for all courses is 150. And the Post-UTME cut-off mark is a minimum of 50/100.
That means you must score at least 150 in your JAMB exam and a minimum of 50 over 100 in the CCU Post-UTME screening to be eligible for admission.

ABSU Post UTME is N2,000 (Two Thousand Naira), and you must pay via the school portal.

Does DELSU Accept Second Choice Candidates?
No, DELSU does not accept second-choice candidates in any way. If you don’t choose the school as your first institution in the JAMB form, there is no admission for you.

Yes! DELSU accept awaiting result. The institution allows candidates awaiting their results to apply for the Post UTME screening exercise and offers admission.
