Federal University of Education, Zaria (FUEZ) orientation and matriculation date for 2025/2026 newly admitted students

The management of the Federal University of Education, Zaria, FUEZ, has announced the Orientation Programme and Matriculation Ceremony for newly admitted undergraduate students for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The notice was signed by Muhammad Ibrahim, Committee Secretary, for the Committee Chairman. It set out the dates, venues, and time for both events; it also gave directions to Heads of Departments and Faculty Officers.

Orientation programme date, time and venue

FUEZ will hold the Orientation Programme on Tuesday, 14 April 2026.

The event will start at 10:00 am prompt at Dr. A. A. Ladan Hall.

That is the first item on the schedule for newly admitted undergraduate students; attendance will Matter.

Matriculation ceremony date, time and venue

The Matriculation Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, 15 April 2026.

It will also begin at 10:00 am prompt. The venue is Dr. M. I. Maccido Hall.

No lectures on both days

The notice stated that no lectures will hold throughout the two days.

Heads of Departments are expected to take note of this directive and act on it.

What Heads of Departments and Faculty Officers must do

The university directed Heads of Departments to mobilise students to attend both events.

Faculty Officers are also expected to be present at the venues to guide matriculating students for proper conduct. That instruction is Plain; the university wants order and close supervision during the ceremony.

What newly admitted students should note

The key dates are Tuesday, 14 April 2026, for the orientation programme and Wednesday, 15 April 2026, for the matriculation ceremony.

Both events will start at 10:00 am prompt, with the orientation at Dr. A. A. Ladan Hall and the matriculation at Dr. M. I. Maccido Hall.
