The Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila-Orangun, has received full accreditation from the National Universities Commission for nine undergraduate programmes.
FUHSI recorded a 100% pass rate for the programmes due for review.

NUC Grants Full Accreditation to FUHSI Programmes
The National Universities Commission granted full accreditation to nine programmes at the Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila-Orangun.
The university currently runs 13 undergraduate programmes, but only nine were due for accreditation in September 2025; all nine received full approval.
That result gives FUHSI a 100% pass rate for the accreditation round.
FUHSI Programmes With Full NUC Accreditation
The programmes granted full accreditation are:
- MBBS
- Audiology
- Medical Laboratory Science
- Nursing
- ITH
- Pharmacology
- Nutrition and Dietetics
- Microbiology
- Biochemistry
These are the programmes that were due for NUC accreditation in September 2025.
Four FUHSI Programmes Will Be Due Later
Four undergraduate programmes at FUHSI were not due for accreditation during the September 2025 round.
Those remaining programmes will be due for NUC accreditation in September 2026.
For now, the university’s accreditation result covers the nine programmes listed above.
