Admission Requirements

Postgraduate Diploma

• Candidates must meet the matriculation requirements of the university.
• Graduates of FULAFIA or any recognized university must hold at least an Honours degree.
• Holders of Higher National Diploma (HND) must have at least an upper credit pass in relevant disciplines.
• HND holders with lower credit may qualify if they have at least five years of relevant post-qualification experience.
• Other qualifications acceptable to the Board and Senate may also be considered, with or without relevant experience.

Master’s Programs (M.A./MFA/M.Sc.)

• Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.Sc.) in relevant fields from a recognized university.
• A minimum of a Second-Class Lower Division with a CGPA of 3.0 is required.
• For History and International Studies, a CGPA of 2.50 or a 50% score is accepted.

M.Phil./Ph.D. Programs

• Candidates must possess a master’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized university.
• A minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a five-point scale or a 55% average score is required.

Professional Degrees

• Candidates with cognate experience in the discipline applied for may be considered.

Important Notes

• A qualifying examination will be conducted, and candidates will receive details via email and text.
• Candidates must download the Transcript Request Form and ensure their previous academic transcript reaches the Secretary, College of Postgraduate Studies, FULAFIA.
• The sale of forms will commence on Monday, 25th November 2024, and close on Sunday, 22nd December 2024.

Interested candidates should visit the FULAFIA College of Postgraduate Studies portal to initiate payment of ₦31,000 for the application form.
