Admission Requirements
Postgraduate Diploma
- Candidates must meet the matriculation requirements of the university.
- Graduates of FULAFIA or any recognised university must hold at least an Honours degree.
- Holders of Higher National Diploma (HND) must have at least an upper credit pass in relevant disciplines.
- HND holders with lower credit may qualify if they have a minimum of five years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Other qualifications acceptable to the Board and Senate may also be considered, with or without relevant experience.
Master’s Programs (M.A./MFA/M.Sc.)
- Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.Sc.) in relevant fields from a recognised university.
- A minimum of a Second Class Lower Division with a CGPA of 3.0 is required.
- For History and International Studies, a CGPA of 2.50 or a 50% score is accepted.
M.Phil./Ph.D. Programs
- Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized university.
- A minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a five-point scale or a 55% average score is required.
Professional Degrees
- Candidates with cognate experience in the discipline applied for may be considered.
Important Notes
- A qualifying examination will be conducted, and candidates will receive details via email and text message.
- Candidates must download the Transcript Request Form and ensure their previous academic transcript reaches the Secretary, College of Postgraduate Studies, FULAFIA.
- The sale of forms will commence on Monday, 25th November 2024, and close on Sunday, 22nd December 2024.
