Scholarship Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for the Fully Funded US South Pacific Scholarship are stated below:
1. The US South Pacific Scholarship Program applicants should be nationals of the Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Niue, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu.
2. The candidates applying for a bachelor’s program should have completed their secondary school education by the university deadline for an undergraduate program.
3. applicants with undergraduate-level courses not equivalent to a U.S. four-year bachelor’s degree can also apply.
4. The candidates applying for a master’s program should have completed at least a three-year baccalaureate program.
5. Applicants with a three-year bachelor’s degree may apply for a bridging program of up to one year.
6. The candidates with dual citizenship, where one is from the United States, are not eligible.
Scholarship Benefits
The benefits of the Fully Funded US South Pacific Scholarship are:
1. Tuition and fees payable to the University, monthly allowance, housing, and settling-in allowance.
2. The recipients also get an annual book allowance, health insurance, and a mentoring program.
