How To Gain Admission Into ISFOP Cotonou

Institut Supérieur de Formation Professionnelle (ISFOP) is a private University at Cotonou, Benin, established by the ISFOP Educational Foundation.

It was granted an operational license by the Republic on 11th May 1997 and started operating in July 2005. The University has graduated eighteen sets of Students.

Candidates applying for admission into any undergraduate programme must possess a minimum of five (5) O’ Level Credit passes at one or two sittings in SSCE/ GCE/ NECO/NABTEB or equivalents which must include Credit passes in English Language and Mathematics, and other subjects relevant to the proposed course of study.

Candidates awaiting results can also apply, provided there is the assurance that such results will be available by September/October in the same year of application.

Interested candidates are to PAY the application fee and APPLY for admission ONLINE. Make payment using a Mastercard that is registered for online payment. Print out your receipt, and come along with it to the screening centre.

Proceed immediately to fill the online application form and print out your application information.

NOTE: You will be expected to submit the receipt and application information printed from the portal on the day of Screening at the Centres

A. International Freshman Student

A student who has never enrolled in any college following graduation from high/secondary school with completion of SSCE/GCE (WAEC, NECO etc), and earned credit or distinctions is considered a first-time freshman

  • Complete the International Undergraduate Student Application for Admission
  • Return the signed application to ISFOP-BENIN University, International Undergraduate Admissions Office, Cotonou , Republic of Benin
  • Academic records should include all necessary exam scores, certificates or diplomas to evidence completion of high/secondary school.
  • If you have earned university-level credit while in high/secondary school, request official transcripts from the college(s) or university(ies) be mailed directly to the International Undergraduate Admissions Office
  • Submit official scores from TOEFL, IELTS, SAT, or ACT exams (For non-english speaking applicants).

B. International Transfer Student

A student who has enrolled in a college or university since high/secondary school but has never attend the ISFOP-BENIN University

  • Complete the International Undergraduate Student Application for Admission
  • Return the signed application to ISFOP-BENIN University, International Undergraduate Admissions Office, Cotonou , Republic of Benin
  • Academic records should include all necessary exam scores,certificates or diplomas to evidence completion of high/secondary school.
  • Request official, sealed (still in envelope) college or university transcripts, including an official English language translation of documents not issued in English, be sent directly to the International undergraduate Admissions Office directly from the issuing institution.
  • Submit official scores from TOEFL, IELTS, SAT, or ACT exams (For non-english speaking applicants).
