GMAT Stands for Graduate Management Admission Test. It is a computer-based test intended to assess certain analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in written English for use in admission to a graduate management program, such as an MBA.

GMAT requires knowledge of certain specific grammar and knowledge of certain specific algebra, geometry, and arithmetic. It is a computer adaptive test which means candidates will get one question at a time and depending on the accuracy of the previous answer, the difficulty level of the next question will be ascertained.
