Kano State Polytechnic has announced the start of registration for the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th and 10th semester summer examinations.
The registration begins on Monday, 30 March 2026. All affected students are to contact their departments for further directives.
Who can register
The summer examination is optional; it is meant for graduating students or spill-over students only.
The Polytechnic states that only students with carryovers and or CIA are qualified.
These students are not eligible:
- Students with DOS
- Students with DC
- Students withdrawn, whether academically or voluntarily
Registration procedure
Students are to follow these steps for the summer examination registration.
Collect the clearance form
The student is to collect a clearance form from the Department.
Visit the MIS Office
The student is to visit the MIS Office with the old registration fee receipt for assessment.
Pay the required fees
The student is to pay spill-over registration fees. For students who did not register and sit for the 1st or 3rd summer examinations, the current school fees apply.
Register at Kano Poly Microfinance Bank
The student is to register for the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th and 10th summer examination with these charges at Kano Poly Microfinance Bank:
- Central Registration Fee: N4,000.00
- School Registration Fee: N1,000.00
- Course Registration Fee: N2,000.00 per course

Registration period
Registration runs from Monday, 30 March to Friday, 17 April 2026.
Revision period
Revision runs from 30 March to Friday, 17 April 2026. Departments will organise the revision.
Examination period
The examination will hold from Monday, 20 April to Saturday, 25 April 2026.
