Kaduna State University has issued an update on the 2024/2025 Special Resit Examination for final year and spillover students.
The university stated that the registration portal has been reopened for eligible undergraduate students who are yet to register. One point stands Out in the notice; the eligibility rules remain the same, and the deadline stays firm.
KASU reopens special resit registration
Management stated that the registration portal for the 2024/2025 Special Resit Examination has been reopened.
This reopening is for eligible undergraduate students who have not completed registration. Students affected by this notice are expected to act within the stated window; the school also made it clear that no extra extension will be given after the closing date.
Who is eligible for the KASU special resit examination
The university stated that the special resit examination is only for:
- final year students
- spillover students with not more than six outstanding courses
The notice also states these conditions:
- courses that require fieldwork, practical, and projects are excluded
- a student must have attempted a course at least once
Revised KASU special resit dates
The university released revised dates for registration, revision, and the examination.
Registration period
Registration has been reopened from 7 April to 10 April 2026.
Revision period
Revision will run from 26 March to 16 April 2026.
Examination period
The Special Resit Examination will hold from 17 April to 24 April 2026.
KASU registration deadline
All eligible students are advised to complete registration before Friday, 10 April 2026.
The notice states that no further extensions will be granted. For students who still need to register, that line says enough.
