The Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero (KSUSTA) is proud to announce its 16th matriculation ceremony for the newly admitted undergraduate students of the 2023/2024 academic session. This pivotal event is scheduled to unfold at the Convocation Arena on Thursday, 7th March 2024, commencing at 9:00 am. Essential Information for Matriculants
Preparation and Rehearsals
- Rehearsal Date: Wednesday, 6 March 2024
- Time: 4:00 pm
- Venue: Convocation Arena
All matriculating students are required to participate in the rehearsals to ensure the smooth flow of the ceremony.
Matriculation Oath Form Collection
- Collection Period: Monday, 4th to Wednesday, 6th March 2024
- Time: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm daily
- Location: Research & Innovation Hall, behind the University Store
All matriculants must collect and fill out the Matriculation Oath Form, which is a significant part of the matriculation process.
Academic Gown Collection
- Rental Fee: N500 (payable to Bursary staff at the Research & Innovation Hall)
- Return Deadline: Monday, 11th March 2024
Failure to return the academic gown by the stipulated date will result in a fine. The gown is a critical element of the matriculation attire and must be worn by all matriculants.
Ceremony Assembly
- Date: Thursday, 7th March 2024
- Assembly Time: 8:30 am
- Location: Convocation Arena
Students must assemble at the designated time, fully robed in their gowns and with their Oath Forms, ready for the procession.
Dress Code and Conduct
Entrance into the Convocation Arena requires students to be dressed in their academic gowns. Additionally, maintaining a decorous silence and calm demeanor throughout the ceremony is expected of all attendees.
Lecture-Free Period
To facilitate full participation, Thursday, 7 March 2024, has been declared a lecture-free period for all UG I & UG II students from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
