Eligibility and Admission Requirements
1. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Programs:
- Who’s Eligible?
- Graduates from KWASU or any other acknowledged universities.
- Those with a Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of a Credit pass in relevant disciplines.
- Individuals with other qualifying certifications approved by KWASU’s Board of School of Postgraduate Studies.
- Moreover, all applicants should fulfill the University’s standard matriculation criteria.
- Duration: The PGD program spans from a minimum of 2 semesters up to a maximum of 4 semesters.
2. Master’s Degree (Academic):
- Who’s Eligible?
- Graduates of KWASU or its equivalents with at least a Second Class (Upper Division) Bachelor’s degree.
- Second Class Lower Division degree holders may be considered following a qualifying examination.
- Additionally, the University’s matriculation requirements are mandatory.
3. M.Phil./Ph.D.:
- Who’s Eligible?
- Candidates must possess a Master’s degree with a 55% minimum cumulative (Weighted) Average Score.
- Should the score be less than 60% post-M.Phil examination, the M.Phil./Ph.D. becomes terminal.
4. Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Degree:
- Who’s Eligible?
- Candidates require a Master’s degree with a minimum 60% Cumulative (Weighted) Average Score.

Duration & Program Structure
- Full-time Courses:
- Master’s: Between three (3) and six (6) semesters.
- M.Phil.: Two (2) to four (4) semesters.

- Ph.D.: Minimum of eight (8) semesters.
