North-Eastern University, Gombe, through the North-Eastern University Community Development Initiative, NEU-CDI, has announced a scholarship under its Special Education Intervention Programme. The offer gives successful candidates 50% off tuition fees for selected Science and Technology programmes.
The scholarship excludes accommodation and other charges. The university said the scheme is designed to support key Science and Technology fields linked to regional and national growth and sustainable development.
What the NEU-CDI scholarship covers
The scholarship gives successful candidates 50% support in tuition fees throughout the duration of the programme. That support does not cover accommodation or other charges.
The award remains valid for the approved duration of the programme, subject to meeting the university’s admission continuation requirements.
Courses covered under the scholarship
The scholarship applies to qualified candidates admitted into the following programmes:
- B.Sc. Petroleum Chemistry
- B.Sc. Environmental Management and Toxicology
- B.Sc. Industrial Chemistry
- B.Sc. Microbiology
- B.Sc. Biotechnology
- B.Sc. Urban and Regional Planning
Who can apply
The notice states that all Nigerians are eligible to apply.
Foreign candidates need not apply; the condition is direct and plain.

Interested candidates are to fill the NEU-CDI application form, attach the NEU or JAMB admission letter, and submit the documents at the enrolment office.
