What is today known as Benin was first called Igodomigodo. The Edo People were formally ruled by the Ogisos which means Ruler from the Sky. Edo Moved from Ogiso Dynasty to Oba Dynasty. Oba is Traditional Ruler and the custodian of the culture of the Edo people.
