Polytechnics Scraps 15 Courses
Following the new rule by the federal government of Nigeria, through the resolution reached by the Federal Executive Council, quite a number of courses offered at the polytechnics in Nigeria will be scrapped.
As a result of this new policy, the following courses (programs) may not be obtainable in Nigerian polytechnics as soon as the new policy takes effect:

- Banking and Finance
- Fine Art
- Home and Rural Economics
- Insurance
- Marketing
- Nutrition And Dietetic
- Secretariat studies
- Accounting
- Hospitality Management
- Public Administration
- 7. Estate Management
- Wildlife And Eco-Tourism
- Fishery
- Leisure And Tourism Management
We’re expecting that the affected courses will be more than just 15 though.
