This is to inform the general public that the management of Kogi State University, Anyigba, has released the minimum cut-off mark required for the academic session admission exercise.

Kogi State University, located at Anyigba, is the state-owned University of Kogi, Nigeria. It was established in 1999 by Prince Abubakar Audu, the former governor of the state. At the time of its establishment, it was known as Kogi State University, It was named Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU) in 2002 and later renamed Kogi State University in 2003 (KSU). 98% of the courses offered at the university are accredited by the Nigeria University Commission (NUC).

The Distinguished PAAU: A History of Academic Excellence

Rooted in the heart of Kogi, Nigeria, the University takes pride in being the state-owned University of Kogi. The institution’s journey began in 1999 when it was established by Prince Abubakar Audu, the then-governor of the state. The name has undergone a series of evolutions, initially known as Kogi State University, before being rechristened as the Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU) in 2002, and finally rebranded once more to Kogi State University in 2003 (KSU). The University has set the bar at a UTME score of 140 and above. Moreover, candidates are expected to have a minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes in the relevant subjects. Only candidates who fulfill these prerequisites will be deemed eligible for the KSU post-UTME Screening Exercise.
