UNILAG Bars Admission Into Two Courses For 2023/2024 Admission
The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has released an update stating that it has bared prospective students from choosing and getting admission for two courses for the 2023/2024 academic session.

UNILAG Admission Notice: All prospective UTME and Direct Entry candidates for the 2023/2024 admission exercise are hereby reminded that the University of Lagos (UNILAG) will not run two programs, namely: Biochemistry and Petroleum & Gas Engineering. Hence, there will be no admission into the two programs.
According to the institution, there will be no admission into Biochemistry and Petroleum & Gas Engineering for 2023 the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), and Direct Entry (DE) candidates.
This was disclosed in an exclusive interview between The PUNCH and the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the institution, Mrs Joke Alaga.
In her words, “We can’t accommodate those two courses right now.”
According to a statement released by the institution, “All prospective UTME and Direct Entry candidates for the 2023 admission exercise should please note that the University of Lagos will not run two programs, namely: Biochemistry and Petroleum & Gas Engineering. Hence, there will be no admission into the two programs. Candidates are hereby advised not to choose these two programs, while those who have done so already should change to other programs.”
