The Wageningen University & Research invites applications for the Africa Scholarship Program 2025.

This fully funded program offers talented students from Africa the opportunity to pursue a master’s degree at Wageningen University.

The goal is to support capacity building in Africa by fostering academic excellence.

Benefits of the Africa Scholarship Program

The scholarship provides the following:

• Travel expenses to and from the Netherlands.
• A monthly living allowance for the 24-month program.
• Full tuition fee coverage for the master’s degree.
• Visa fees and health insurance costs.
• A budget for attending one seminar in Europe, covering travel, stay, and registration.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for this program, you must:

• Be a citizen of an African country.
• Apply for a Wageningen University master’s program before the deadline.
• Gain unconditional admission to the MSc program.
• Hold a First-Class Honours degree with a GPA of 80% or higher in your bachelor’s degree.
• Preferably not hold a master’s degree prior to applying.

Application Process

The scholarship is based on invitation, and direct applications are not accepted.

Follow these steps for consideration:

1. By 1 February 2025: Apply for an MSc program at Wageningen University.
2. By 13 March 2025: Selected candidates (about 40) will be invited to join the selection process.
3. By 25 March 2025: Complete the required assignment.
4. By 8 April 2025: Approximately 20 candidates will be shortlisted for online interviews.
5. 22 April – 1 May 2025: Participate in MS Teams interviews.
6. By 8 May 2025: Final results will be communicated to all candidates.
