National Common Entrance [NCEE] Form & Exam Date 2026

Registration for the 2024 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) has not started… Common Entrance for 2024 will be held on Saturday, April 20th. I will keep you updated…

1. Eligibility For NCEE

Only Final year pupils of Primary Schools are eligible for the exams. Primary school final year ranges from primary 5 to primary 6. This is because the highest level in some primary schools is five.

Final year Pupils of Primary Schools who shall NOT be less than 10 years or more than 13 years old by September 2021.

2. NCEE Entry Procedure

  • Heads of Primary Schools should contact either their State Ministries of Education or NECO State Offices to obtain Scratch Cards at the rate of N4,750.00 (Four Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty Naira) only per Candidate, after payment into NECO Treasury Single Account (TSA) in any of the Commercial Banks.
  • Private Candidates can also obtain scratch cards from NECO State Offices Nationwide at the rate of N4, 750.00 (Four Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty Naira) only per Candidate, after payment into NECO Treasury Single Account (TSA) in any of the Commercial Banks.
  • High Commissions, Embassies, or Consulates should collect scratch cards from the nearest NECO State Office after the payment of $400.00 into the NECO Treasury Single Account (TSA) in any of the Commercial Banks.
  • Overseas Candidates should Note that Examination Centres are only within the Country.
  • Click on www.mynecoexams.com
  • Enter the PIN number and Serial number on the scratch card.
  • Enter registration details and upload a passport photograph of the candidate.
  • Print the candidate’s Photocard to obtain his/her registration and center numbers.

3. Nature of Common Entrance

The examination will consist of the following:

PAPER I

Part A: Mathematics and General Science
Part B: Quantitative and Vocational Aptitude

PAPER II

Part A: English and Social Studies
Part B: Verbal Aptitude

4. How To Register NCEE 2021

Parents/Guardians are to pay the registration fee of 4,750 Naira before they can register their candidate. To register candidate(s) for NCEE, Parents/ Guardians must:

  1. Go to ncee.neco.gov.ng
  2. Create an online account
  3. Activate the account
  4. Make payment
  5. Register candidate(s)
  6. Print photo card

Note: Each center has a maximum of 250 candidates. Once the center is full, you can no longer select that center.

NCEE Timetable 2024
