The University of Calabar is a public university situated in Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria. It is one of Nigeria’s second-generation federal universities. The University of Calabar was a campus of the University of Nigeria until 1975. The Vice-Chancellor is Florence B. Obi. The post of the DVC (Academic) is held by Angela Oyo Ita, while Grace Eno Nta is the current DVC (Administration).

The architecture was designed by John Elliott. It was established by decree to fulfill this traditional mandate, its motto “Knowledge for Service”.

Requirements To Study Pharmacology At UNICAL

Below are the requirements for candidates that wish to gain admission into the University Of Calabar through JAMB To Study Pharmacology.

  1. For a start, you need to have at least 5 credit passes in your O’level result (WAEC and NECO) including English and Mathematics not more than two (2) sittings before you can study Pharmacology at UNICAL.
  2. You must have reached the AGE of sixteen (16) by the 31st day of October in the year of admission.
  3. Meet UNICAL  Pharmacology Cut off Mark.
  4. Choose the Correct JAMB Subject Combination.
  5. Have a good JAMB, WAEC, Post UTME Score.

STUDY

UNICAL Direct Entry Requirements For Pharmacology

Below are the requirements for candidates that wish to gain admission into the University Of Calabar through Direct Entry To Study Pharmacology.

  1. A minimum of 5 credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) Ordinary Level Credits in a maximum of two (2) sittings.
  2. Degree (First Class/Second Class Upper) in related fields.
  3. Direct entry candidates are required to purchase the UNICAL Direct Entry form through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) And UNICAL Portal.
  4. A minimum of Merit Pass in the National Certificate of Education (NCE), National Diploma (ND), and other Advanced Level Certificates.
  5. Other qualifications acceptable to the Senate of the University, and being equivalent to (1) and (4) above. In addition to the above minimum admission requirements, candidates must also satisfy such Faculty/Departmental entry requirements.
