Harness Your Artistic Talents to Address Substance Abuse

The competition invites you to delve into critical questions that not only raise awareness but also encourage proactive discussions on substance abuse. Consider what drives young individuals towards substance abuse, and the dynamics of environments that might trigger such behavior, and envision a future free from the shackles of addiction. Your artistic interpretation of answering these questions could be a powerful catalyst for change.

 

 

Who Can Enter?

The competition is open to individuals aged between 13 and 30 who hold Nigerian nationality, aiming to foster local talent and provide a platform for youthful voices to be heard.

Prizes to Be Won

The competition is structured into two main categories, each with significant cash prizes for the top performers:

  • Art / Design Category:
    • 1st Place: ₦70,000
    • 2nd Place: ₦50,000
    • 3rd Place: ₦20,000
  • Music / Spoken Word Category:
    • 1st Place: ₦70,000
    • 2nd Place: ₦50,000
    • 3rd Place: ₦20,000

How to Participate

To enter the competition, select one or more of the guiding questions and submit your artistic response. You can make your submissions through the official competition page or directly via WhatsApp at +263 780 122 507.

Categories and Submission Formats:

  • Art & Design: Send a JPG of your original artwork or design.
  • Music & Spoken Word: Submit a video, no longer than 3 minutes, showcasing your musical or spoken word performance.
