Our business operations comprise five divisions, including Sugar, Flour, Pasta, Rice, and Edible Oils.             BUA Foods Graduate Technical Trainee Program (GTTP) 2023

🎓 Minimum Qualifications B.Sc / B.Eng with a 2:2 or HND in specific Science, Engineering, and Technology fields.
🔬 Accepted Fields Chemical, Electrical & Electronics, Food Science & Tech, Microbiology, Mechanical & Production, Mechatronics & Automation Engineering, Industrial Chemistry.
🏢 Work Experience Candidates should not have more than 2 years of experience.
🇳🇬 Nationality / Residence Applicants must be citizens of Nigeria and willing to work anywhere in the country.
🎂 Age Limit Candidates must be 30 years old or younger.
🏫 Mandatory NYSC Completion of the National Youth Service Corps program or an exemption letter is required.

Eligibility and Requirements

The GTTP is a selective program, and BUA Foods has set forth specific eligibility criteria to ensure only the most fitting candidates apply. These requirements are as follows:

  • Applicants must possess a minimum of a second-class lower division (2:2) in either a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) or a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng). In addition, candidates with a lower credit Higher National Diploma (HND) are also eligible.
  • Degrees and diplomas must be obtained in specific Science, Engineering, and Technological fields. These include but are not limited to:
    • Chemical Engineering
    • Electrical & Electronics Engineering
    • Food Science & Technology
    • Microbiology
    • Mechanical & Production Engineering
    • Mechatronics & Automation Engineering
    • Industrial Chemistry
  • All candidates must have completed Nigeria’s mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program. Alternatively, they should possess an exemption letter.
  • The age limit for applicants is capped at 30 years. This is to ensure that the program attracts young, dynamic candidates who can bring fresh perspectives to the company.
  • Work experience of not more than 2 years is allowed. This criteria helps in ensuring that the program is primarily filled with fresh graduates, thereby maintaining the essence of the trainee program.
