BUK Documentation Exercise For Newly Admitted Students 2022/23

Bayero University Kano (BUK) has issued a notice to all candidates admitted for the 2022/2023 Academic Session, calling for a mandatory Documentation Exercise. This crucial process is part of the steps required to validate and complete your admission into the esteemed institution.

📅 New Campus Dates 15th-17th January 2024 at the Convocation Arena.
🎭 Old Campus Dates 18th-19th January 2024 at the Mahmud Tukur Theatre B.
📜 Required Documents JAMB and BUK admission letters, acknowledgment slips, and result slips.
🔍 Result Verification O-level result checker cards, especially for NECO candidates.
🏫 Campus Division Documentation split between New and Old Campus faculties.
🎟️ Exercise Essentials Medical fitness certificate, birth certificate, passport photographs.
💳 Financial Proof Evidence of payment of acceptance fees.
✅ Compulsory Step Mandatory for all new undergraduate students.

  • New Campus Students
    • Dates: Monday, 15th to Wednesday, 17th January, 2024
    • Venue: Convocation Arena, New Campus
  • Old Campus Students
    • Dates: Thursday, 18th to Friday, 19th January, 2024
    • Venue: Mahmud Tukur Theatre B, Old Campus

Required Documents for Verification

All admitted candidates must present the following original and photocopy documents:

  1. JAMB Admission Letter
  2. BUK Admission Letter
  3. JAMB Acknowledgment Slip (for Direct Entry Candidates)
  4. BUK Acknowledgment Slip (for Direct Entry Candidates)
  5. JAMB Result Slip (for UTME Candidates)
  6. A Level Statement of Result (for Direct Entry Candidates Only)
  7. O Level Statement of Result and Online print (SSCE)
  8. Result Checker Card for O-level results (applicable to various exam bodies). Particularly, NECO June/July 2019 candidates should bring a result-checking token.
  9. Primary School Leaving Certificate/Testimonial (Optional)
  10. Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age
  11. Completed Undertaking Form
  12. Evidence of Payment of Acceptance Fees
  13. Certificate of Medical Fitness
  14. Two (2) Recent Passport Photographs
