LASUSTECH Verification Exercise For Lagos State Indigenes 2023
The Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) has announced the commencement of the 2023/2024 State of Origin Verification Exercise (SOVE) for admission-seeking candidates who are indigenes of Lagos State and chose LASUSTECH as their first-choice institution in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME).

Eligibility for the Verification Exercise
Only candidates who scored a minimum of 180 in the 2023 UTME and are of Lagos State origin are eligible for the SOVE. This also extends to all Direct Entry candidates. Note that the verification exercise does not guarantee or serve as proof of admission into LASUSTECH.
Verification Exercise Timeline
Registration for the SOVE will begin on Tuesday, 18th July 2023, and close on Friday, 28th July 2023. Following the registration, the Verification Interview will be conducted on two separate occasions:
- From Tuesday, 1st August to Thursday, 3rd August 2023
- From Tuesday, 8th August to Thursday, 10th August 2023
The specific date for each candidate’s interview will be provided on their application form.

Important Notice for Applicants
Candidates are reminded that only those who are of Lagos State origin are eligible for the verification exercise. They are expected to be cleared by the State of Origin Verification Committee (SOVC) before they can proceed to process their Post UTME screening forms. It is pertinent to note that any applicant who makes a payment to any other individual or account, or via any other means aside from the specified link, does so at their own risk.
