UTME Candidates
- Choose OAU, Ile-Ife as the first choice in the 2024/2025 UTME.
- Score 200 or above in the UTME.
- Have at least five credit passes, including English Language, in no more than two sittings.

Direct Entry Candidates
- No additional screening is needed except for verification of uploaded credentials.

Pre-Degree and JUPEB Candidates

General Admission Requirements
- Hold a General Certificate of Education (or equivalent) with credit passes in at least five subjects.
- Pass in the English Language at O’ Level.
- Except for the Faculty of Arts, Law, and Bachelor of Arts in Education, a credit pass in Mathematics at O’ Level is required.
- A pass in the Higher School Certificate’s General Paper is equivalent to a credit pass in English Language at O’ Level.

- Registration starts on Monday, 5th August 2024, and ends on Sunday, 1st September 2024.
Steps to Apply
- Visit the OAU Admissions Portal.
- Log in using your Registration Number as the Username and your Surname as the Password.
- Complete the biodata form and click continue.
- Obtain an RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) for payment online or at any commercial bank.
- Re-login once payment is confirmed.
Important Screening Information
- Screening is conducted online. Candidates are not required to travel to the University.
- Providing false information or incorrect credentials will result in disqualification.
- Check the screening schedule on the OAU Admissions Portal from Tuesday, 3rd September to Saturday, 7th September 2024.
