Founded on October 4th, 1962, Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) is West Africa’s largest university with 82 academic departments, 49,954 students, and 500,000 alumni. The University is also identified as a first-class Architecture School and innovator in Agricultural research.

Under the administration of current Vice-Chancellor Professor Ibrahim Garba, ABU now specializes in several programs including Sciences, Social Sciences, Arts, Environmental Design, and Engineering. The University is ranked as the best for its unmatched expertise in Architecture and research in Agriculture. Over the course of its history, the University has nurtured two University Colleges- Abdullahi Bayero College (now Bayero University, Kano) and Abubakar Tafawa Balewa College (now Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University of Technology, Bauchi).

ABU has a large medical program with its own A.B.U Teaching Hospital recognized as one of the largest training hospitals in Nigeria and indeed Africa. There are currently 27 institutions, made up of Colleges of Education, Polytechnics, and Schools of Basic or Preliminary Studies affiliated with Ahmadu Bello University (ABU).

Below are the requirements for candidates that wish to gain admission into Ahmadu Bello University through JAMB To Study Radiography.

  1. For a start, you need to have at least 5 credit passes in your O’level result (WAEC/NABTEB or NECO) including English and Mathematics not more than two (2) sittings before you can study Radiography in ABU.
  2. You must have reached the AGE of sixteen (16) by the 31st day of October in the year of admission.
  3. Meet ABU  Radiography Cut-off Mark.
  4. Choose the Correct JAMB Subject Combination.
  5. Have a good JAMB, WAEC, Post UTME Score.

ABU Direct Entry Requirements For Radiography

Below are the requirements for candidates that wish to gain admission into Ahmadu Bello University through Direct Entry To Study Radiography.

A minimum of 5 credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) Ordinary Level Credits in a maximum of two (2) sittings.

Degree (First Class/Second Class Upper) in related fields.

Direct entry candidates are required to purchase the ABU Direct Entry form through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) And ABU Portal.

A minimum of Merit Pass in the National Certificate of Education (NCE), National Diploma (ND), and other Advanced Level Certificates.

Other qualifications acceptable to the Senate of the University, and being equivalent to (1) and (4) above. In addition to the above minimum admission requirements, candidates must also satisfy such Faculty/Departmental entry requirements.

Cut Off Mark For Radiography In ABU

Before you will be offered admission to study Radiography in ABU this year, you ought to have scored high in JAMB and have also passed the cut-off mark necessary for one to gain admission into the course in question.

To be on the safer side, you need to target at least a score of 250 and above in JAMB so as for you to have a high chance of gaining admission into Ahmadu Bello University to study Radiography.
