Registration Timeline for 2nd Batch

Newly admitted UTME and DIRECT ENTRY candidates are urged to commence their registration from Monday, 6th November to Friday, 1st December, 2023, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. It is imperative to adhere to the Registration Schedule, as no extensions will be granted for the screening/registration exercise.

Detailed Registration Schedule

The forthcoming registration will be hosted at the esteemed NURUDEEN ALAO HALL (DLI). The schedule, outlined below, is segmented by days to accommodate specific faculties and courses:

ALL MONDAYS 6TH, 13TH, 20TH, & 27TH NOVEMBER 2023

Registration Process

The registration process will be in four stages:

Stage 1: Document Uploading

  1. Access the Portal:
    • Visit UNILAG Student Portal.
    • Use your UTME Number as your Username and your Surname (in lowercase) as your Password.
  2. Complete your Bio-data:
    • Fill out the bio-data form.
    • Print out the Screening Form.
  3. Document Upload: While completing your bio-data form, ensure to upload the following original documents:
    • Birth Certificate
    • Reference Letter (From a reputable Clergyman/Imam/Lawyer/Senior Civil Servant). Address this to The Registrar, University of Lagos.
    • Testimonial from your Secondary School
    • State of Origin Certificate
    • JAMB Admission Letter
    • O’Level Result
    • Previous Degree Certificate (For DIRECT Entry candidates only).

Stage 2: Document Screening

  1. Visit the Registration Venue:
    • Refer to the provided registration schedule for timing.
  2. Document Submission: Submit two copies of the following documents to the registration officer:
    • Screening Form from Stage 1 (Colored and Photocopy)
    • UNILAG Online Application Form (Direct Entry candidates only: Colored and Photocopy)
    • JAMB Admission Letter (Institution Copy: Colored and Photocopy)
    • UTME Result Slip (Colored and Photocopy)
    • JUPEB/A-LEVEL/OND/HND/BSc. Result Slip (For Direct Entry candidates only)
    • O’Level Result Certificate (WAEC/NECO) OR an online version of the result
    • Letter of Reference (Original copy, on Letterhead, with valid identification of the referee. Lawyers should use a valid NBA Seal [NOT THE RED SEAL])
    • Birth Certificate or Sworn Declaration of Age (Photocopies)
    • Secondary School Testimonial (Photocopies)
    • State of Origin Certificate (Photocopies). Note: Must match the state registered with JAMB.
    • Passport Photographs (12 Copies: Write full names on the reverse side).

    Important: Candidates should present original copies of credentials (like birth certificate, testimonial, state of origin, and WAEC certificate) for verification.

Stage 3: Fee Payment

  1. Generate Payment Advice:
    • Do this 24 hours post the Stage 2 process.
  2. Bank Payment:
    • Visit any bank branch to make the necessary payment.

Stage 4: Faculty/Departmental Registration

  • Head over to your respective Faculty and Department to wrap up the registration processes.

Important Notice

Impersonation is a grave offence that will lead to automatic admission forfeiture and possible handover to the Police.

The University has zero tolerance for drug use; hence, a compulsory drug test will be conducted for all newly admitted students once. The admission of students who test positive to drug use or fail to undergo the test shall be withdrawn.

The dates for the Matriculation ceremony and Orientation program will be announced by the University in due course.
