The Cross River State University of Technology is an outcome of a merger of three former tertiary institutions by the then Governor Donald Duke (The Polytechnic, Calabar, the College of Education, Akamkpa, and the Ibrahim Babangida College of Agriculture, Ovonum, Obubra) owned by the Cross River State Government.
The university is established primarily to provide basic training and research and to impart research skills to equip Nigerians of various backgrounds in all areas of technology.
Emphasis is however placed on catchment areas of the university to enable the exploitation of the enormous natural resources for sustainable development of Cross River State. The university is a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal.
It offers various degrees, such as pre-bachelor degrees, bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, and doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
The university presently has four campuses in Calabar, Obubra, Ogoja, and Okuku.

The Cross River state university of Technology’s school fees is between N105,000 and N128,000 for freshers.
CRUTECH School Fees 2022/2023 For Returning Students
Returning students are to pay N85,000 – N95,000.
Non-indigene students should pay N85,380, and indigene students are to pay N73,380.
How Much Is CRUTECH Acceptance Fee?
The CRUTECH acceptance fee for the 2022/2023 academic session is #15,000 (Fifteen Thousand Naira only).
Note that this fee is non-refundable and mandatory for every new 100L student.

CRUTECH Cut-Off Mark
The CRUTECH JAMB general cut-off mark for all courses is 180. And the Post-UTME cut-off mark is a minimum of 50/100.
That means you must score at least 180 in your JAMB exam and a minimum of 50 over 100 in the CRUTECH Post-UTME screening to be eligible for admission.

CRUTECH Post UTME is N2,000 (Two Thousand Naira), and you must pay via the school portal.

Yes! CRUTECH offers Nursing. However, eligible candidates must possess five credits in WAEC/NECO.
