Awarding Degrees and Prizes

The ceremony for the Award of First Degrees and Prizes is scheduled, featuring the First Convocation Lecture. Dr. Felicia Chinwe Mogo, the founder/president of the African Marine Environment Sustainability Initiative (AFMESI) and a renowned member of the UN Group of Experts on Marine Environment, will enlighten attendees with her lecture on “The Changing Higher Education Landscape: Implications for Emerging Workplace Dynamics” at 10:00 AM in the Main Auditorium.

Conferring Honorary Degrees

On this day, Igbinedion University honours the achievements of distinguished individuals by conferring Honorary Degrees. Senator Dr. George Akume, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, will deliver the Second Convocation Lecture on “Public and Private Sector Intervention in Tertiary Education in Nigeria: Stimulus for Innovative Research and Development” at the Main Auditorium at 10:00 AM.
