Scholarship Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for the Fully Funded National Chiao Tung University Scholarship in Taiwan are stated below:
1. International Applicants except Taiwan with any other nationality are eligible to apply.
2. Applicants must be healthy both physically and mentally.
3. Candidates who are recipients of any other scholarships are not eligible.
4. Applicants should fill out the application form correctly, honestly, and completely and submit application materials as required by the university.
5. Candidates having high school degree certificates are eligible to apply for Undergraduate Degree programs.
6. Applicants holding bachelor’s degrees can apply for a Master’s Degree.
7. Students with a master’s degree certificate are eligible to apply for a Doctoral Degree.

Scholarship Benefits
The Benefits of the Fully Funded National Chiao Tung University Scholarship in Taiwan are:
A. Bachelor’s Degree Scholarship:
Up to NT$21,000 (US$700) per month Monthly Stipend and/or Tuition waiver.
B. Master’s Degree Scholarship:
1. University Tuition fees Waivers
2. Monthly stipend NT$22,000 (US$733) per month
3. Assistantship Will also be offered to Master Students By Advisor For Research Work.
C. Doctoral Degree Scholarship:
1. Waivers of tuition fees
2. Monthly stipend NT$29,000 (US$966) per month
3. PhD Students will also get Assistantship as an advisor for Research Work.
D. Taiwan Scholarship – MOE, MOFA
This scholarship is provided by the Taiwan government (the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
I) MOFA Scholarship:
1. Monthly Stipend: NT$30,000
2. One Direct Round-Trip Economy-Class Ticket
II) MOE Scholarship:
1. Waiver of tuition and certain fees
2. Recipients can only study at universities participating in the Taiwan Scholarship Program Union
3. Mainly for recipients from eligible countries designated by the MOE.

Students have to prepare the following document before applying for NCTU International Student Scholarships 2023-24 in Taiwan:
1. Online Application Form
2. The Highest Degree Diploma verified with official stamps.
3. The highest degree Transcript
4. 2 Letters of Recommendations: (Must be written by the candidate’s Teacher, Advisor, or Employee).
5. Valid Passport Copy
6. The study plan must be written in Chinese or English.
7. English Language Proficiency: If the applicant’s previous degree was taught in English, the candidate can submit an English Proficiency Certificate from the previous institute.
8. Academic thesis or relevant publications (for Ph.D. program applicants).
