This is to inform the general public that application forms for admissions into Higher National Diploma (HND), National Diploma (ND), Remedial and Certificates programs offered by the three Colleges under the Division of Agricultural Colleges (DAC), Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, are now on sale for admission into any the following Colleges:

Application Process:
National Diploma (ND): Those interested in the National Diploma (ND) program can easily obtain the Screening form online. After making a payment of two thousand Naira (N2,000.00) at any approved commercial bank, applicants should proceed with the subsequent application steps.
HND, ND SPECIAL, Remedial & Certificate Programs: If you are applying for the HND, ND SPECIAL, Remedial & Certificate, or Certificate programs, the Screening forms are accessible upon payment of two thousand five hundred Naira (N2,500.00).
ABU DAC Admission Entry Requirements
1. HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA:
All candidates wishing to apply for admission in the Higher National Diploma programs should have a National Diploma with at least Lower Credit in any relevant accredited Agricultural program plus a minimum of one (1) year of working experience or internship after graduation. Candidates must also have credit passes in the relevant five subjects including Mathematics, English Language, Chemistry/Physics, and Agricultural Science/Biology at WAEC (GCE), NECO, NABTEB, and NBAIS. The five credit passes are pre-requisites for admission into the National Diploma programs. Other specific requirements for the individual courses are as follows:
a. Agricultural Extension and Management: Candidates must have National Diploma in
Agricultural Technology, Agricultural Engineering Technology, Animal Health and Production Technology, Fisheries Technology, Horticultural Technology and NCE Agriculture (DM).
b. Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology (Farm Power and
Machinery): Candidates must have a National Diploma in Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology programs.
c. Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology (Soil and Water). As in (1b) above.
d. Pest Management Technology: Candidates must have a National Diploma in Agricultural Technology, Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology, and Science Laboratory Technology.
e. Animal Health: Candidates must have a National Diploma in Animal Health and Production Technology.
f. Animal Production Technology: Candidates must have a National Diploma in Animal Health and Production Technology or Agricultural Technology.
g. Crop Production Technology: Candidates must have a National Diploma in Agricultural
Technology (General Agriculture)
h. Horticulture and Landscape Technology: Candidates must have a National Diploma in
Agricultural Technology, Horticultural Technology, or Forestry Technology.
i. Home and Rural Economics: Candidates must have a National Diploma in Home and Rural Economics, Food and Nutrition, Hotel Management Technology, Catering, Food and Dietetics, or NCE in Home Economics (DM).
j. Pasture and Range Management: Candidates must have a National Diploma in Agricultural Technology, Animal Health and Production Technology, Forestry Technology, or Wildlife
Management.
NB: Candidates with a PASS at National Diploma will be considered for admission into the Higher National Diploma (HND) after having 2 years of cognate experience for National Diploma (ND) graduates of DAC and 3 years of cognate experience for graduates of other institutions.
2. NATIONAL DIPLOMA:
Entry requirements into the National Diploma Programmes must be through JAMB, candidates that choose other institutions as their first choice must fill green card to change his/her choice to any of the desired colleges under DAC and must upload his/her O’level result in the JAMB portal. Candidates must have Credit Passes in English Language and Mathematics as stipulated by the National Policy on Education. Other relevant O’Level credit passes should be obtained at not more than two sittings. The relevant subjects for various courses are not strictly the same and vary as follows:
a. Agricultural Technology Credits level passes in 5 subjects that must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, and any credit pass from the following: Geography, Economics, and Physics.
b. Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology Programme Credits level passes in 5 subjects that must include English Language and Mathematics, Physics, Biology/Agricultural Science, and any credit pass from Chemistry/Geography/Economics/Further Mathematics.
c. Home and Rural Economics Programme
Credit level passes in 5 subjects that must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science/Food and nutrition/Home Management, and any credit pass from the following: Geography, Economics, Religious Knowledge, and Nigerian Languages.
d. Animal Health and Production Technology
Credit level passes in 5 subjects that must include English Language and Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, and any credit pass from the following: Geography, Economics and Physics.
e. Fisheries Technology
Credit level passes in 5 subjects that must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, and any credit pass from the following: Geography, Economics, and Physics.
f. Horticulture and Landscape Technology Credit level passes in 5 subjects that must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry; and any credit pass from the following: Geography, Economics, and Physics.
g. Statistics
Credit level passes in 5 subjects that must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and two credit passes from any of the following: Chemistry, Agricultural Science, and Economics
h. Computer Science
Credit level passes in 5 subjects that must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and any two credit passes from the following: Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Economics, and Geography
i. Science Laboratory Technology
Credit level passes in 5 subjects that must include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and any credit pass from the following: Geography, Biology or Agricultural Science, Economics, Commerce, Computer Studies, Statistics, Further Mathematics, Work, Technical Drawing, Metal Work, Basic Electronics.
3. REMEDIAL (SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY)
Candidates wishing to apply for Remedial must have at least passes in four relevant subjects at O’Level in WAEC/GCE/NECO/NABTEB or NBAIS. The Remedial Programme is only to prepare the candidate to pass UTME and ‘O’ level examinations.
4. CERTIFICATE COURSES
Candidates wishing to apply for the Certificate Programme must have at least a minimum of two passes in any of the science subjects at WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS, or both.

5. Provide the necessary details and click “Create Account”.
6. Click “Generate RRR” to obtain your RRR Transaction ID.
7. Proceed to “Pay via Remita” using your ATM card or print the “Transaction Slip” for payment at any online commercial bank.
