Bloggers! How many hours do you spend on your blog daily and how many hours should you spend on your blog every day? This is a nice question and we shall discuss it today.

There is a saying that, “no product without process and no glory without a story”. That is to say, the effort you put into your blog as a blogger determines the result you get from your blog.
Lazy bloggers wait for others to create content so that they can copy. Lazy bloggers wait for the ideas of others. They are never innovative. On the other hand, serious bloggers sleep late and wake up early.

This brings us back to the question, “how many hours do you spend on your blog daily (And how many hours should you blog a day?” I will answer the second part while I leave you to answer the first part.
The amount of time you spend on your blog depends on whether or not you are a full time blogger. As a full time or professional blogger, I feel you should spend at least six (6) hours on your blog daily. An exception is when you are on break or have other things to attend to.
If you are a student or a part time blogger, you should spend at least two hours on your blog while on tight schedule at school or work. When you have free time or on holidays, you have to burn at least 6 hours on your blog daily.
Personally, I spend at least twelve (12) hours on my blog daily during holidays. When school is in session, I reduce it so that my academics don’t suffer too much. The good news is that I will be an Engineering graduate very soon.
5 Common Things I do On My Blog
Here are five common things I do on my blog daily as the CEO of Flashlearners.
- Creating new content.
- Update existing posts.
- Improve my writing and SEO skills with practice.
- Work on minimizing my plugins without affecting performance.
- Do more research…
I do so many things on my blog. I will treat this in my future article on the 15 things you should do weekly as a blogger and how I do it.
Bloggers should run their blogs with sense of urgency. Have the mentality, I am behind schedule…. There are more articles to be written, more pictures to be share, more tutorial videos to be uploading. Just keep working and it will surely pay.
Once again, tell me how many hours you spend on your blog daily…

It doesn’t necessarily mean you should spend the time on your blog.
I personally prefer writing offline before editing to publish than writing online to publish right away.
I think it depends on what suits the person anyway
Isaac Inegbenehi says
You are right, however, you can write articles online without publishing it immediately. As a matter of fact, you could even schedule posts.
