Why iPhone Whatsapp Freezes

- iPhones use more Processor power and less RAM. The common ones are 2GB to 4GB RAM.
- Whatsapp TV uses so much RAM in addition to other Apps you run.
- Since iPhones don’t have much RAM, They will hang with thousands of active contacts on Whatsapp.
I did an experiment of 6k Whatsapp Contacts with iPhone 12 Pro and it still hanged. Meaning, no iPhone yet can handle 6k to 20k contacts comfortably.
Android Phones Like Samsung and OnePlus get 6GB to 16GB of RAM which is loved by Whatsapp for many contacts. As such, they are preferable for Whatsapp Tv.
I tried 6k to 10k contacts with Galaxy S20 Plus and it didn’t have much issue; the Lag wasn’t so annoying. I also tried many Whatsapp Contacts with some other Flagships.
In summary, iPhones are very good when you have a few thousand Whatsapp Active contacts. But for contacts more than 6000, I recommended you use a good android phone with 8GB RAM or above to prevent loss of chats or major Lags.
