Ever since the last Jamb CBT Update, there have been other updates with every passing year. One of the updates is the adoption of Jamb Pin vending method for CBT registration.

The Joint Admission Matriculation Board has adopted the Pin Vending Method for UTME Sales of form nationwide.
Many students until now are yet to understand what JAMB Meant by pin vending and has kept asking me the question, what is Jamb PIN vending?
Candidates are to note that Pin Vending was introduced after the scrapping of scratch Cards. That means, it is a direct replacement for Jamb scratch card while CBT centers replacement for Cyber cafes.
Today, I have decided to walk all students through on what actually the pin vending means and list of banks authorized for the pin vending.
JAMB Pin Vending is a process whereby students wishing to register for the examinations make an online payment and get a pin with which they can upload their data.
This new pin vending can be accessed through the options of web payment, ATM issued cards like Visa, Verve, and Mastercard, online Quick Teller, mobile application and Bank Branch case/card.
The Examination Board has also listed few banks authorized for the pin vending, they include:
- Union Banks
- Zenith Banks
- Access Banks
- CBT Centres
- JAMB State Offices.
- Nigerian Postal Agencies [NIPOST] e.t.c [More Banks To Be Updated Soon].
Note: Other banks would also sell Jamb e-pin.
Candidates are also informed that some Accredited centres are also authorized for Pin Vending.
We therefore advised students who are yet to register to visit the nearest accredited centers for registration, but in a process whereby your center is not yet authorized for pin vending, candidates are now free to visit any of the above bank for pin vending before returning to the centers to complete registration.
NOTE: Banks can also help you with the whole registration process!!!

I registered with a number that has been used for jamb before and I was told to create a new profile code with a new number and go for pin swap but Wema bank refuse to do that for me and have been to jamb office abeokuta I was directed back to the bank… What will I do

plz hello’ if you decided to process all your jamb registration in the approved banks, can the bank creat your jamb profile for you? or you will still go to the cyber cafe to create your jamb profile differently.
