What is JUPEB About?

JUPEB is an acronym of Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board, The programme is an Approved, Proven & Certified Advanced level programme moderated by University of Lagos and having coordinating body in various tertiary institutions and different study centres nationwide.

JUPEB programme was designed to provide an opportunity for candidates who cannot gain admission to regular degree programmes due to different reasons.

2019/2020 JUPEB Registration Qualifications

The entry qualification into 2019/2020 JUPEB registration is purely Ordinary Level result (O’level) However, candidates awaiting result can also apply.

APPROVED: JUPEB is approved by the Federal Government has a platform for securing admission into higher institution in the country and abroad.

JUPEB is Guaranteed: Every year, more than 30,000 applicants put in for JUPEB programme in which not less than 70% of candidates secure admission into 200 level to their preferred institution and courses.

JUPEB is Certified: The direct admission programme is certified by Nigeria University Commission (NUC) as an Advanced level examination that qualify students for 200level admission without JAMB.

2019/2020 JUPEB Registration and How it Works

Interested candidates are expected to choose any THREE (3) A/L JUPEB Subject Combination identified with their preferred course of study in the university be it Science, Art or Social Science Course.

Candidates would then be lectured for ten (10) months (2 semesters) at their respective Study Centre and thereafter sit for the final examination. On completion of the programme, successful candidates accordingly use their JUPEB certificate to secure admission into 200level in any Nigeria tertiary institution through direct entry.

LEGIBILITY: JUPEB certificate is presently recognised and accepted in more than 90% of Nigeria universities. This includes both federal, state and private Universities. To confirm, prospective candidates can check JAMB BROCHURE.

JUPEB PROGRAMME DURATION: The programme runs for a maximum period of one academic session (10month). The session is divided in two(2) semesters. Academic activities in all our JUPEB Study centres begins every August and runs till June. The examination is conducted June/July yearly. 2019/2020 JUPEB Registration Eligibility: The programme is open to all interested candidates nationwide and any course can be offered be it Science, Art or Social Science.

2019/2020 IJMB Registration Requirements

2019/2020 JUPEB registration requirements and primary entry qualification is your ordinary level result. Before a student can obtain JUPEB registration form, He/she must have completed secondary school education. However, candidate awaiting ordinary level result can also apply for the IJMB programme.

Who Can Attend JUPEB Programme?

JUPEB programme can be attended by any interested and qualified candidates. By qualification, candidates must meet-up the basic requirements as stated HERE

How To Make Use Of Your JUPEB Result

Candidates who wish to make use of their JUPEB certificate for admission into 200 Level are required to visit JAMB website or their nearest office to obtain direct entry (D.E) form, fill them in correlation with your JUPEB result, and then submit a copy online and at JAMB office.

Kindly note that JUPEB result does not expire, thus candidate can use their result anytime needed.

JUPEB Academic Calendar ”“ 2019/2020 session

Sales of JUPEB registration form starts by April every year and it ends by Januart of the following year. By August, while the registration is still going on, the lectures for the session will start, which is usually within the mid of July and early August.

The lectures will run through to May/June from that July/ August. From April/May, the revision for the session will begin. JUPEB examination can start from late June.
