You’re probably here because movies on your Laptop are opening with Parallels Windows Player Instead of playing with Mac Video players.

As you double click on any video, it opens Parallels Windows and starts playing with Windows Media Player. This is obviously not what you want. Besides, it takes time for Windows to boot and start playing the video.
A simple solution to this issue is right-clicking on any Video you wish to open and then open with any video player you want. This solution is not convenient at all.
You can’t be right-clicking any time you wish to watch a video. The best solution is to permanently choose a video player on mac to open your videos whenever you double click instead of waiting for Parallels Windows to load.
I was able to fix this issue once and for all. The following were the steps I followed to prevent my Macbook Pro Videos from opening within Windows 10.

After following the steps above, trying opening videos. The issue would have been solved and you can now watch movies with your desired video player. Don’t fail to let me know if the issue persists even after following this guide.
