Before I walk you through the audition venue and how to register for MTN project fame, I will let to make you understand more of what MTN project fame is about. If I may ask, What is MTN Project Fame?

According to Wikipedia, MTN Project Fame is a music talent TV reality show filmed in Lagos and aired in the West African subcontinent. It is a regional version of Star Academy reality series that was developed and is licensed worldwide by Endemol.

The show used to feature contestants from Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone, but Liberia and Sierra Leone have been dropped since the 2014 Ebola Outbreak. The show is broadcast by networks in these four countries and across the African continent.

Run by Ultima production, Project Fame’s inaugural season began in 2008. The production format consists of gala evenings held each Sunday night in prime time and hosted by Joseph Benjamin and Adaora Oleh. In season 7, Adaora was replaced with Bolanle Olukanni.

How To Register MTN Project Fame

Registration is not ongoing yet. Immediately it is announced for this year, the following are steps you must follow to register MTN project fame.

  • If you are in Nigeria, What you need to do is to SEND Name and Location to 35850 (Using an MTN line) to get a PIN from MTN will only cost you N100 Naira Only.
  • Applicants must be 18 years and above in age ”“ Open ended, failure to verify your age will result to application being declined.
  • Amateur only eligible ”“ anyone who has recorded or released a song or album is not qualified to apply.
  • Copy of photo ID/International or ECOWAS Passport must be presented
  • The Proceed to MTN Project Fame Registration Page to fill your Form
  • After registration, You must take the audition form to the audition venue.
