An Error Has Occurred While Requesting Indexing

Modified On Oct 12, 2020 By Isaac

One of the biggest challenges that rocked the blogging industry this year was slow indexing. Instead of getting Indexed immediately, it was taking days before posts manually submitted to Google for Indexing was appearing in Search Results.

Many blogs globally suffered from the Google Unconfirmed Slow Indexing Algorithm. We are just recovering from slow indexing, now another issue of major concern has rocked the “blogosphere”.

Before now, Google assigns a crawl budget every webmaster monthly. With this budget, you can submit up to 500 single URLs a month to Google for indexing without daily limitations (And the full blog for crawling and indexing 10 times every month).

Blogosphere is a term some writers have used to describe the grassroots and interactive journalism made possible by participants in blogs (logs or journals maintained on the Internet) and the symbiotic relationship between bloggers and traditional journalists.
Now, things have changed. After submitting just about 10 posts for indexing, you will be getting errors “An error has occurred. Please try again later” While Submitting Posts For Indexing“
What do you think is the cause of, An error has occurred. Please try again later” While Submitting Posts For Indexing?

Personally, I think Googlebot is limiting the use of that tool as too many webmasters seem to be using it to try to get faster indexing instead of letting Googlebot find or crawl and decide to index or not.
This is a good reason because Search Console is primarily a diagnostic tool and not for indexing new pages.
Solution: The best solution to this problem is to fetch and submit only very important posts. Don’t abuse the tool by indexing every article. Submitting 10 articles daily is more than enough for you.
Besides, the Google bots and now faster at crawling and indexing. Give them time to crawl your blog and choose whether the post is fit for indexing your not.
Use a sitemap and let googlebot find new pages on its own. Last last, you will still rank if the post is a high quality content. Don’t be too scared of competitors copying your posts and outranking you. Follow the law of 10x.
