Jamb 2025 Direct Entry Form And News

Jamb 2025 Direct Entry (DE) Form Release Date, D.E Registration closing Date, Screening Dates, Latest Admission Updates, Deadline Extension And Jamb D.E Latest News Updates is our Topic for Today.

Direct Entry applications will run from March 10th to April 7th, 2025. The main UTME will be conducted between April 25th and May 5th, 2025.

Many Candidates have missed Jamb Direct Entry because they didn’t know that Jamb released UTME Form and Direct Entry form together. They expected Jamb to announce the direct entry form separately.

Take note that Registration for UTME and DE now begins and ends together. Registration for Jamb Direct entry is done at approved Jamb CBT Centres and it is for admission into 200 Level. You may check the list of approved Centres.

How Much Is Jamb Direct Entry Form?

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Direct Entry form is N3,500 (Check here) to see the price reduction). The JAMB Mandatory Textbook For Direct Entry (Which is likely to change) ”The Last Days at Forcados High School is #500 Only (Which may not be used).

Will DE Students Write Jamb?

Jamb direct (DE) entry candidates are not to sit for Jamb examination. However, Jamb has announced that schools are at liberty to set aptitude tests for candidates who apply for direct entry there.

Therefore, any school that decides to set exams for their DE candidates will adapt questions from the Jamb recommended novel in addition to other subjects offered by the candidate.

Those who gained admission into the university via direct entry will start from year 2 or 200 level in their university of choice provided they are offered admission. This is the edge they have over their UTME Counterpart.

Requirements For Jamb Direct Entry

All applicants must possess either of the diploma certificates listed below:

  1. A minimum of of (5) GCE/WASCE credits at not more than two sittings with at least two Principal or Advanced level C.E. and the others.
  2. Two passes at the IJMB Advanced Level Examination, Cambridge moderated Schools of Basic Studies Terminal Examination, JUPEB or Institute of Baccalaureate from recognized institutions with SSCE/GCE, NTS/NBC credits equivalent in three other subjects (SUBJECT TO UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENTS).
  3. Passes in two major subjects in the NCE with S.C.E., NTC/NBC credits or equivalents in THREE other subjects (mainly for Education Courses) and ND. Education may be accepted as a third A’ Level subject for those taking courses in Education.
  4. Minimum of lower credit grade in National Diploma or National Innovation Diploma including the O’Level requirements.
  5. Candidates are to note that they will be required to provide their JAMB registration number which they used in gaining admission to NCE, Diploma etc for Direct Entry admission.
  6. NIN FOR JAMB DIRECT ENTRY (If Applicable)

How to Apply For Jamb Direct Entry

  1. Create Jamb Direct Entry Profile.
  2. Enrol NIN for Jamb
  3. Visit an Approved bank or CBT Center for an E-Pin.
  4. Fill the DE Registration form.
  5. Submit to Jamb centres.
  6. Collect Jamb e-slip

As it is the practice, centres are allowed to charge not more than ₦700 as a registration fee.

The Exact Jamb direct entry examination date will be fully announced by the different institutions since Jamb has given them the freedom to screen their candidates. Some schools will not conduct exams but just screening and submission of documents.

The Eligible Institution or Institution type that Jamb registration will be made available include the following:

  1. First Degree
  2. National Diploma (ND)
  3. National Innovation Diploma (NID)
  4. Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) programmes
  5. In Universities
  6. including other degree-awarding Institutions
  7. Monotechnics
  8. Polytechnics
  9. Innovation Enterprise Institutes
  10. Colleges of Education.

  8. Sir/ma please help us postpone the direct entry date we beg of you people. You should consider the fact that the delay of not paying ontime is not a one man mistake but so many of us. Even if it is not up to a week we know you have the right and that us why we are pleading.

    • Please JAMB extend the date for direct entry to at most the second week of March. Please a lot of people were running around for one thing or the other. Please jamb help us out.

  19. once you have a diploma or certificate from any institution whose admission you got without JAMB ADMISSION LETTER,the program admission is on the initiative of your particular school as approved by federal ministry of education,JAMB recognizes your DIPLOMA OR CERTIFICATE,no wonder they include OTHER DIPLOMA in the FORM FIELD…..so just fill OTHER DIPLOMA where the credentials you have are not among the ones organized and regulated through JAMB……stop panicking for nothing….people got their admissions through it last year
