premium themes

Learn Blogging and SEO With FlashIsaac Season 4, Episode 7.

Following the recent hype in the use of Premium themes and plugins (especially the premium Yoast SEO Plugin), many bloggers have been wondering if their low ranking in SERP is a result of using free themes and plugins.

Let me begin by saying that it is not bad to use a premium theme in your WordPress blog. Besides, many free themes are poorly coded while most premium themes and frameworks are designed by experts. The same goes for Plugins.

Now, you may be contemplating, whether should I switch to a premium theme or upgrade by plugins to the premium version. You must not use a Premium Plugin or Premium theme before you can rank well on Google.

It is not bad to use premium theme in your WordPress blog

In as much as it is good to get premium themes and plugins for your blog, I totally disagree with the fact that you must have a premium theme and plugins to rank high of Search Engines.

You may want to know my proof… Here at  Flashlearners.com, I use a free theme and I have never used any premium Plugin (As at the time of updating this article). My Yoast SEO plugin is a free version. Yet, almost all my traffic come through organic sources. Trust me, I am ranking pretty well.

A lot of persons are contemplating leaving the Yoast Plugin to Rank Maths because of the current trend. Trust me, no plugins helps you to Rank very high overnight.

Conclusion: Using a premium theme and plugins is a good practice. If you have the money and also see the need to upgrade, feel free to do that. On the other hand, if you are not having issues with your current theme and your plugins are not giving you issues, then stick with it.

If you are not having issues with your current theme and your plugins are not giving you issues, then stick with it.

Note: The Premium Yoast SEO offers you the option to redirect urls so as to cure 404 errors. If you can’t get the yoast premium then use the free redirection plugin or other 404 to 301 plugins. They are perfect alternatives.

I have also found out that using premium themes or plugins is not a determinant to ranking high in Google page.

It’s high time newbies in blogging knew these. Nice write-up.
