1. TextBooks

In one of my posts, I explained that notebooks alone are not sufficient to prepare fully for Jamb; you need good textbooks. A good text is one that covers everything in your jamb syllabus. Ensure to have textbooks for all your Jamb subjects. If possible, do not restrict yourself to just one book.

2. Jotter

One of the biggest mistakes of Jamb candidates is that they read without putting down facts. It is compulsory you get a notebook or jotter to put down important points while reading. Jotting important points makes your revision faster. This makes Jotter one of the must have materials for every Jambite.

3. Notebooks

This is another important material you need for Jamb. Your notebooks should contain notes you have made in the past. You would have to refer to them once in a while.

Notebooks here is for long notes or full topics while jotter is to put down the most important points in a topic (that you’re likely to forget). Using notes you have copied in the past alongside textbooks and jotter is a good combination.

4. Pen And Pencils

You should already know this, you need Biro and Pencil to prepare for Jamb. Pen and Pencils are not reliable… They stop writing anytime. To avoid distractions while reading, you need more than one Biro while studying for Jamb UTME Examination.

5. Rough Notes

You need a rough note for calculations. Get a note and dedicate it to calculations and rough work. It doesn’t need to be correct or neat; Mistakes are allowed when using rought notes.

The more rough notes you consume, the more prepared you are. After reading, close your notes and textbooks and down everything you can remember in a rough note.

6. Jamb Syllabus

Of course, Jamb syllabus is to guide you on what to read and what not to read. You need it to guide you while studying. When going through the Jamb syllabus, ensure to tick the topics you have covered thoroughly. You may want to click here to get all Jamb syllabus for free.

7. Time

Time in this context implies reading for long hours and using a Watch to Time yourself. You need time to schedule your studies and as well check how fast you were able to solve a mathematical problem.

Remember, time is not a handset but an asset….. Killing time is not murder but suicide. What you do with your time is what Jamb result will do to you.

8. Calculator

This is a sure material you need. However, do not use powerful calculators to study for Jamb. Jamb makes use of basic calculators and usually give them out to candidates during registration. Get used to the Jamb type of Calculator.

9. Chair And Table

This is to emphasize that you must sit down comfortably while studying for Jamb. Don’t be on the bed while studying; it is very risky. On the other hand, if reading on the bed works better for you then go ahead. In all, make sure you get a good reading environment and not deceive yourself.

10. Your Brain

This is the most important material you need. Your brain must be there while you are preparing for Jamb. Focus is the key; take away all possible distractions. Your brain speaks of full attention and concentration while prepareing for Jamb.

11. Flashlearners Jamb App

The Flashlearners Jamb app contains thousands of Jamb likely questions including Jamb novel. The application works without the internet after you download it. Click here to get the app.

12. Flashlearners Videos

Flashlearners has video tutorials for all your Jamb topics and for your Jamb Subjects. The good news is that you are not paying anything to watch the videos. Click here to see Flashlearners videos you need to prepare and pass Jamb.
