Jamb is a yearly examination conducted across all States in Nigeria. The examination is purely computer-based and scheduled at different dates in different Jamb centres approved for all Candidates.
Jamb Registration: Registration in Nigeria is announced yearly. The registration usually begins around December or early in the new year. Candidates are usually given about three weeks or more to do their registration. See the next Jamb date here.
Examination Hall: The jamb examination hall is AC tight and highly supervised. The examination is computer-based and you are timed to answer specific number of questions. The computer goes off immediately your time is over. See what not to take to Jamb hall here.
Subjects Registered In Jamb: Candidates are required to answer questions on only four subjects in the examination. The Use of English is compulsory while the three other subjects depend on the course you have chosen to offer in the University. See Jamb subject combination here.
Jamb Profile: The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board have made it compulsory for all candidates to create Jamb profile before they can register Jamb. There are many other things you can do with your Jamb profile; You may want to see more about that here.
Release Of Jamb Result: The results of Joint admission examination are released online a few days after the examination. The results are also checked via the Jamb profile.
