Study Smarter
Have you ever wondered why so many candidates study hard but still fail? You may have experienced a situation where people you taught pass more than you. This is the time for all the nonsense in Jamb to stop.
If nothing inspires you to be serious and get the right information to pass Jamb, this will motivate you: 1.79 million candidates sat for Jamb 2019. This number grows yearly with the number of secondary school leavers.
Many methods have been adopted in the past to bypass and pass Jamb. Examples of such methods include Jamb expo centre and SMS method. After Jamb CBT Introduction around 2014, a lot of Jamb Updates has been introduced.
Over the years, Jamb has taken drastic measures to ensure that malpractice doesn’t exist in UTME anymore. You may be wondering, Is it possible to stop malpractice in Jamb? See the measures below:
- Yes, Jamb to monitor all centres with CCTV CameraS
- Jamb drops solid guidelines to end cheating
- Jamb drops stressful pre-registration procedures
Getting ready for a big test, like the JAMB exam in Nigeria, can be tough. Lots of students study a lot, hoping to get good grades. But sometimes, even if they study a lot, they don’t pass the exam. This makes us wonder: why do some people study a lot but still don’t pass the JAMB?
The answer is pretty simple. You can study a lot, but not in the right way. This means you can put in lots of effort, but it might not help you pass the test. There are a few reasons why this happens, and we’ll talk about them and how to fix them.
One big reason is studying without a plan. Just because you study a lot doesn’t mean you’re studying the right way. Reading books for hours might not help you remember things. You need a study plan that uses different ways to learn, like making notes, teaching someone else what you learned, or using flashcards.
Another problem is not studying the right stuff. The JAMB exam has a list of topics it covers. The test questions come from these topics. If you’re not studying these topics, you might not be ready for the test, even if you studied a lot.
Also, lots of students don’t practice with old test questions. These old questions help you understand what the test is like and what kinds of questions it has. If you don’t use these, you’re missing out on a chance to get used to the test and practice managing your time.
Lastly, feeling stressed and not managing your time well can make you do poorly on the test. If you’re stressed, it’s harder to focus and remember things. If you don’t manage your time well during the test, you might rush and make simple mistakes.
But don’t worry, there’s a way to fix all these problems. Making a study plan, studying the right topics, practicing with old questions, dealing with stress, and getting better at managing your time can all help you do better on the JAMB exam. The key is to study smart, not just a lot.
- Many candidates forget 90% of what they study.
- Lack of concentration while studying.
- Inability to understand what they read.
- They don’t know the right way to analyze difficult courses.
- Not guided on how to use Jamb past questions to score 350+.
- They refuse to understand the right persons to meet.
- Failure to fall in Love with mathematics.
- They forgot everything in the exam hall.
- Issues with Jamb comprehension passages.
Despite these odds, you can write Jamb on your own and still pass very well. However, there are necessary materials you should always be found with as a Jamb candidate. They are useful to you just as the compass is to the pilot. See them:
